The 2009 Australian Beer Festival was held at the Australian Heritage Hotel at The Rocks on 24th and 25th October 2009 and firmly established what we already suspected - Akuna Alcoholic Ginger Beers are THE BEST!!! After two awesome days of beer tasting - not to mention plenty of tattoo art!! - we walked away with the top award - People's Choice for Best Stall. Thanks so much to everyone who voted for us and showed their enthusiasm. No doubt many of you woke up this morning with an Akuna logo tattooed on so if you don't remember much about the event at least you should remember THE name - AKUNA.

We had a fantastic time at the Amber Affair in August - handing out the Blue and Gold for a great cause in support of the Sydney Children's Hospital. Held at the Lowenbrau Beer Cafe at the Rocks, this annual event goes off! Tickets sell out fast so we are booking ours for next year already!!

If you are in the Hospitality Industry you may have seen us at the Sydney Bar Show in September. The Akuna was flowing over the two days of the show and the positive response was really encouraging. we are attempting to get to all the interested stockists but please let us know if there is somewhere you would love to see AKUNA and we will try our best to make it available there.
